Cotton Lea and Q.R. House

Both these houses are situated at an historically interesting site only 10 minutes walk from Parkview Colonials past various heritage homes to where Australial´s first and only cotton mill was built, close to the East Ipswich Railway Station.

These two houses have interesting connections with past history involving British immigrants from Manchester, the American Civil war and the first railway in Queensland.

The houses provide more variety of choice, allowing self catering options if desirable.

United Services Bowls Club is just around the corner serving very reasonably priced meals.

Cotton Lea house has three accomodation levels with two large lounge rooms, shady verandahs, a large breezy deck as well as a B.B.Q. area

This newly renovated house is popular with sporting teams and families. You have a open plan kitchen and one large lounge room with adjacent enclosed verandah. The Park and playground with B.B.Q. facilities is very close.

Further Information:

Children: Children are welcome and cots are available for infants. An excellent playground is located in Queens Park or at the small corner park.

Cots Available: AUD 5.00 for length of stay.

Medical Facilities: First aid kit.

Miscellaneous:
Full refund of deposit (50 per cent of total charge) if cancellation is advised prior to 21 days before the booked arrival date. Cancellations within 21 days will mean forfeiture of the deposit.
Rates available on application. Guests must consider other visitors and neighbours by avoiding excess noise.

Non Smoking Establishment: Smoking on verandahs and in gardens only.

TV/Lounge Area:Individual televisions in some rooms.
